Abuja, Nigeria – President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has departed for Paris, France, for a brief but important working visit aimed at assessing his administration’s progress and planning for the future.
During his time in Paris, the President will evaluate his administration’s midterm performance, focusing on key milestones achieved to date. He will also take part in a strategic retreat to review the progress of ongoing reforms and to plan ahead for his administration’s second anniversary.
This period of reflection will help guide further efforts to strengthen reforms and accelerate national development priorities for the year ahead. The President’s team will use this opportunity to align strategies and ensure that goals are on track as Nigeria continues to move forward.

A major highlight of the administration’s accomplishments is the recent economic progress, particularly reflected in the Central Bank of Nigeria’s report of a significant increase in the country’s net foreign exchange reserves. Reserves have grown to $23.11 billion, a sharp rise from the $3.99 billion recorded in 2023. This increase is a direct result of the fiscal reforms implemented by the administration.
While in Paris, President Tinubu will remain fully engaged with his team and continue to oversee governance activities from abroad.
He is expected to return to Nigeria in approximately two weeks, following the conclusion of his working visit.
