The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Ogun State has commended the state’s workforce for their unwavering dedication, resilience, and selfless contributions to the state’s socio-economic advancement.
In a statement released in Abeokuta on Thursday to commemorate Workers’ Day 2025, the party’s Publicity Secretary, Mr. Kayode Adebayo, expressed deep appreciation for the sacrifices made by civil servants despite the current economic challenges facing the nation.
“Despite tough economic realities, Ogun workers have continued to serve with passion, professionalism, and patriotism,” Adebayo stated. “Your commitment exemplifies a culture of excellence, and we acknowledge your crucial role in shaping our state’s development.”
Adebayo noted that the PDP is fully aware of the gap between workers’ earnings and the weight of their sacrifices, assuring that the party remains aligned with their aspirations.

“Our administration built an unmatched, symbiotic partnership with workers. That collaboration reawakened a sleeping giant and ushered Ogun State into a new era of progress and prosperity,” he said.
The PDP reiterated its unwavering commitment to the common good and assured workers of its continuous support in advocating for fair treatment, improved conditions, and a better future.
“We honour every effort, every drop of sweat that shows your love for our dear state. The PDP will always champion the cause of Ogun workers,” the statement concluded.
