Anambra, Nigeria – Former Governor of Anambra State and Labour Party stalwart, Peter Obi, has firmly denied any affiliation with the All Progressives Congress (APC), stating he remains committed to issue-based politics and fairness in governance.

“For the avoidance of doubt, both now and in the future, I am not a member of the APC, nor am I an intending member. My stance on politics has always been rooted in integrity, fairness, and issue-based engagement,” Obi affirmed.

Obi strongly condemned efforts to link him to political manipulation, stating that he does not engage in smear campaigns or divisive tactics.
“I reject any attempt to associate my name with toxic politics, blackmail, or false narratives. Leadership should be about service, not deception,” he added.
