Peter Obi has once again demonstrated his dedication to education by donating ₦30 million to Paul University, Awka, to support the institution’s growth and development. This marks Obi’s third visit to the university, having previously contributed ₦10 million on each of his earlier visits, bringing his total financial support to ₦50 million.
During his visit, Obi reaffirmed his continued support, particularly for the newly established School of Nursing Sciences. He emphasized the importance of investing in education as a means to empower youth and drive national development.

The proprietor and his team provided Obi with a tour of the ongoing projects at the university, highlighting the significant progress made, especially with the launch of the new Nursing Programme. Obi expressed his admiration for the advancements and commended the institution’s dedication to equipping students with valuable skills and opportunities.
Peter Obi’s commitment to education extends beyond Paul University, as he has spent over a billion naira on donations to educational institutions across Nigeria, with a particular focus on health institutions.
