The escalating feud between investigative journalist David Hundeyin and social media activist PIDOMNigeria has taken a new turn, with Hundeyin releasing a voice recording of PIDOMNigeria allegedly pleading for his assistance.
PIDOMNigeria recently launched a scathing attack on Hundeyin, accusing him of betrayal, fraud, and misusing funds allegedly linked to the Obidient Movement. In a post on X (formerly Twitter), PIDOMNigeria vowed to expose Hundeyin’s “dirty secrets” with supposed evidence, claiming that he had imported a woman from Kenya to Ghana using money from Obidients.
In response, Hundeyin dismissed the allegations as baseless and retaliated with a firm rebuttal. He condemned PIDOMNigeria’s derogatory remarks about his former partner, clarifying that she was not only his public girlfriend but also a respected professional. He further refuted claims of financial misconduct, asserting that his earnings came from his professional work, not political donations.
Taking the feud a step further, Hundeyin released an audio recording allegedly capturing PIDOMNigeria confessing from prison, pleading for his help as the only person they could trust. According to Hundeyin, PIDOMNigeria requested him to execute “Plan B”—which involved making their whereabouts public for safety reasons. Hundeyin honored the request but is now using the recording to challenge the activist’s credibility.
In his response, Hundeyin tagged the Nigeria Police Force and National Security Adviser Nuhu Ribadu, hinting at possible legal consequences for PIDOMNigeria. He also pointed out that Deji, presumably a former ally, had withdrawn support, leaving PIDOMNigeria vulnerable to legal troubles.
With both sides making damning claims, the dispute continues to fuel intense debate online. While PIDOMNigeria threatens to reveal more secrets, Hundeyin has turned the tables by exposing what he sees as a desperate attempt to discredit him. The situation remains fluid, with many closely watching to see how it unfolds.
